Colder Air with the Injen IS Series Intake System
Hot, turbulent air is the enemy of your engine. Turbulence means less smooth mixing with your fuel. Hot air means less oxygen in the mixture, which in turn means less explosive force in the combustion chamber. Most air intakes just suck air in from the engine compartment, meaning it is heated by the engine and usually pulled in from all around, resulting in exactly what you do not want-hot, turbulent, performance robbing air.
The folks at Injen have an answer. The Injen IS Series Intake System is a painless way to add a performance-boosting shot of cold air into your engine. The IS series is a ram air injection system that moves the air intake away from directly over the engine. Air that is pulled in further from the engine will be colder, and therefore denser. The extra oxygen in the colder air means more horsepower out of each cylinder.
The IS series short ram intake is made of 6016 T-6 Aluminium Alloy, for maximum durability and minimum weight. It is called a short ram because it does not reach all the way down to the front bumper for its intake. Instead, air is drawn in further away from the engine than the factory standard air intake, and pulled through the tube, smoothing the airflow along the way. The net result is air that is colder, denser, and not nearly as turbulent. This air is an immediate performance boost for your daily driver or occasional racer.
The Injen IS is dyno-tested for performance and also for the proper airflow ratio. Products from other manufacturers often result in a lean running engine, which over time can reduce the longevity of the engine. Upgrade your air intake for all the performance without the risk.
Return Policies
Overview of eInjen.com's Return Policy. Please read carefully! Don't hesitate to contact us with any questions.
I. Inspection
Buyer shall inspect and reconcile all inbound shipments from EINJEN.COM within seven (7) working days. Claims for shortages or damaged merchandise must be submitted to EINJEN.COM no more than ten (10) working days following Buyer's receipt of shipment.
II. Returns, Defective and Damaged Merchandise
Freight damaged merchandise will not be accepted by einjen.com. The customer should contact the carrier for reimbursement procedures. EInjen takes every measure to carefully package and stabilize the package contents before shipping. All shipments are fully insured. Carrier mis-handling is not within eInjen.com's control.
EInjen does not accept returns for manufacturer's defect. einjen.com will help with arrangements to ship the defective part to the manufacturer for replacement if needed. The customer should contact the manufacturer directly for resolution.
III. A Returned Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") form must be filled out by the Buyer and Approved by EINJEN.COM prior to any return. A Refund or Store Credit will be issued to Buyer upon receipt of the RMA. All refunds will be processed by the same manner as they were received by EInjen. Example: Credit Card, Debit Card, Etc.
The following guidelines apply:
The RMA number should be clearly indicated on the return package(s).
All returns must be shipped "pre-paid" and fully "insured."
Return packages with unpaid or freight charges due will be refused and returned to customer.
EInjen will return to the customer any and all "freight damaged" packages.
Returns must be received by eInjen.com within 10 calendar days after the RMA number has been issued. Note: "RMA" numbers are void after the aforementioned 10 calendar days. If the RMA expires, the customer will be required to contact EInjen for a new RMA number.
IV. Returns Or Exchanges for Good Merchandise
Returns of good merchandise may be accepted by EINJEN.COM in its sole discretion under the following conditions:
Return/Exchange of merchandise in totally re-saleable condition, without markings on the original packaging. Accepted return will be assessed a 25% restocking charge.
Return/Exchange of merchandise in packaging that has been marked, relabeled, mis-used, or otherwise defaced will NOT be accepted for return.
Merchandise classified by EINJEN.COM as TBD (To Be Discontinued), or DC (Discontinued), may NOT be returned for credit.
Buyer must pay all return transportation charges.
V. Custom and/or Special Orders - Cancellations and/or Refunds, including Deposit will NOT be accepted or issued on these orders.
Any returns for or quality or application (fit) issues will require high quality digital pictures of the products to be emailed to the account manager before an RMA is approved.
Order cancellations will take up to 48 hours after a cancellation is requested before the order is officially cancelled and money processed for return.
Returns/Exchanges will not be accepted under any circumstances after 14 calendar days after the ship date indicated by EINJEN.COM .
Please be advised that EINJEN.com reserves the right in advance to refuse any return if we deem that return does not meet our return policy criteria.
