The Mitsubishi Lancer Injen Intake is the perfect upgrade to your vehicle. After removing your factory airbox, the intake tube is directed directly behind the front bumper to acquire colder, direct air. Injen intake uses a proprietary design using multiple pieces that are dyno tuned to make the path. The larger and cleanable Injen air filter then goes on the end of the intake tube to complete the system. You wont ever have a check engine light because your mass air flow sensor bolts right up to the Injen intake on the 2008 Mitsubishi. Injen dyno tuned this intake to ensure maximum horsepower and torque gains on your 2008 model while still maintaining proper air/fuel ratios.
The Injen RD cold air intake also includes a rubber vibra-mount used to relieve stress on the intake pipe from driving vibration. Each Injen air intake system comes with a replaceable Injen performance urethane air filter.

In 2005, Mitsubishi introduced a concept version of the next-gen Evolution at the 39th Tokyo Motor Show named the Concept-X, designed by Omer Halilhodiæ at the company's European design centre.
Mitsubishi unveiled a second concept car, the Lancer Prototype-X, at the 2007 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS).
The Evolution X sedan features a newly designed 4B11T 2.0 L turbocharged, all-aluminum inline-4 engine. Power and torque depend on the market but all versions will have at least 280 PS (205.9 kW; 276.2 hp) (JDM version), the American market version will have slightly more. The UK models will be reworked by Mitsubishi UK, in accordance with previous MR Evolutions bearing the FQ badge. Options for the UK Evolutions are expected to be between 300 hp (220 kW) and 360 hp (270 kW).
